Hello!

My name is Jennifer Wheeler. I am an instructional designer and eLearning developer. I'm a lifelong learner and intuitive computer user. When creating courses, I use several programs including Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, and WellSaid Labs and am able to problem solve to fix mistakes quickly. I enjoy using adult learning theory and various learning modalities to help people learn and retain their knowledge. Creating engaging learning experiences is at my core.

I've spent over half of my life teaching and mentoring others, first as an elementary school teacher, then as a technology specialist supporting the teachers and staff members in using Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMSs), along with other technologies. Working with adults has been very rewarding. With my detail-oriented mindset and self-directed nature, I am able to manage multiple projects with various deadlines and deliver products on time. Collaborating with others requires emotional intelligence and empathy. Being a levelheaded person helps me stay in control when those around me are consumed with emotion. My adult learners are always challenging me to find creative solutions to meet their needs. I can do that for you too!

What do your learners need to know or be able to do as a result of the training? By understanding the need, clearly defining learning objectives and proper assessments, I will develop quality courses to meet your needs. 

Communication is the key to benefitting from any relationship. Adult learners need to understand why the training is important and be able to implement their learning right away. By giving learners choice and providing engaging scenarios and interactions, your learners will be able to implement this knowledge, providing the change your business is looking for. 

When I'm not changing the face of learning through instructional design, I enjoy traveling, gardening, reading, crocheting, and spending time with my family.
